Gaining in popularity in Addlestone, the Glass sunrooms from the outdoor living group offer a sleek look with expert installation. A structure that is encircled by a frameless door system is called a sunroom (winter garden). Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. What differentiates a sunroom from a conservatory is its unique single glazed roof. Another feature of a glass room is its side panels that can be opened up to let in more air during the hot summer months.Book a free survey

There are a lot of heating options available for a sunroom. A more efficient method is to use compact radiant heaters to warm up people not the sunroom. These are powdered coated, so they can match the colour of your glass room and blend in seamlessly.
Typically, heat is not an issue in a glass garden room because it is constructed with sliding glass panel that create great air flow and when combined with a roof shade you will have the perfect climate all year round. In addition, you can include external side shades that come fitted with automatic sun sensors that track the movements of the sun.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
