Gaining in popularity in Ashford, the Glass sunrooms from the outdoor living group offer a sleek look with expert installation. Structures surrounded by frameless glass doors are known as glass sunrooms or winter gardens. Winter gardens are also referred to as glass rooms, solarium outdoor enclosures, patio rooms or Florida rooms. The major difference between a sunroom and a conservatory is its distinct glazed feature . A glass room is not affected by high temperatures in the summer months because the side glass panels can be pulled back to expel excess heat.Book a free survey

A sunroom that provides an amazing view of the outdoors is a home feature that a lot of homebuyers would gladly shell out a little more money for in Ashford. While every home is unique, the chances are good that investing in one would be worth the effort.
You can enjoy the sunshine wherever you sit in a sunroom. Not only does this room draw in natural light, but also the sun's warmth, making it a soothing space for an early morning cup of coffee or tea or relaxing with the morning paper or book.
Add a sunroom to your space and watch your outdoor living space expand. As a bonus, you also get a space that can serve as a quiet sanctuary, is great for hosting guests outdoors or simply relaxing at the end of a hard day. If you're contemplating adding an extra room to your home in Ashford, why not go for something out of the box and install a glass garden room.
A sunroom can be heated in a couple of ways. The more efficient method would be to use compact radiant heaters that warm up people not the room. Installing one of these will not detract from the visual aesthetic of your glass room as they are powder coated.
With glass garden rooms, you really do not have to worry about heat. A standard feature of a sunroom is sliding glass panels that help keep the room cool. When a retractable roof shade is included with the design, a glass garden room can be made even cooler in the summer. You can also include an outdoor side shade that is controlled by automatic sun sensors that follows those thorns movements.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
