With years of experience, the outdoor living group have installed and provided Glass sunrooms across Blackwater. Glass sunrooms also referred to as winter gardens are buildings enclosed by framed glass doors. Glass sunrooms also go by the name glass rooms, solarium outdoor enclosures, Florida rooms or patio rooms. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.Book a free survey
One of the features that makes glass rooms very unique from the rest of the rooms in your home, is the amount of natural light that bathes and warms up the room. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Blackwater no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Sunrooms are popular low-cost outdoor living spaces for homeowners especially as an extension of a lush backyard or garden. A sunroom is also great home addition because it comes in a broad range of styles and designs. Winter gardens are also designed to perfectly match the existing style of your home.
Seasonal sunrooms are custom built with single glazed doors that offer natural ventilation and shade that can be enjoyed all year long. They are however not built to be used with a conditioning or traditional heating like radiators.

A sunroom that provides an amazing view of the outdoors is a home feature that a lot of homebuyers would gladly shell out a little more money for in Blackwater. Even though every situation is different, you would most probably get great return on your investments.
With a sunroom, the sunshine can truly be enjoyed. Not only does this room draw in natural light, but also the sun's warmth, making it a soothing space for an early morning cup of coffee or tea or relaxing with the morning paper or book.
If you are looking to increase your outdoor living space, then a sunroom will be perfect. It is great for entertaining, relaxing after a long day or as a simple retreat. In Blackwater enclosed outdoor living spaces are great, they provide you with extra room and when they are glass garden rooms; something spectacular.
Yes it can. There are a couple of heating methods that can be used in a sunroom. A more efficient method is to use compact radiant heaters to warm up people not the sunroom. They come powder coated to minimise visual impact and match the colour of your glass room
With glass garden rooms, you really do not have to worry about heat. A standard feature of a sunroom is sliding glass panels that help keep the room cool. When a retractable roof shade is included with the design, a glass garden room can be made even cooler in the summer. You can have an automatic sun sensor affixed with an external side shade on the outside to track the movement of the sun.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
