Working in Burgess-Hill, the outdoor living group have provided and installed many Glass sunrooms, with years of expertise. A structure that is encircled by a frameless door system is called a sunroom (winter garden). Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. Glass rooms are different from a conservatory because of their single glazed nature. Winter gardens also have side panels that can be opened up for more ventilation when it's summer.Book a free survey
One of the features that makes glass rooms very unique from the rest of the rooms in your home, is the amount of natural light that bathes and warms up the room. With a glass room, you get to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors in Burgess-Hill. Glass rooms create a space that is free from nature's elements but provides an amazing room of the outdoors inside your home. Homeowners often incorporate sunrooms as an inexpensive outdoor garden extension. Sunrooms can be constructed in many different styles and would work well with any kind of building or design style. Winter gardens are also constructed to blend in with the rest of a building for a seamless look.
Seasonal sunrooms are not made to be used with air-conditioning or conventional heating sources but still offer all year round use. A major design feature of seasonal sunrooms are single glazed doors or screens.

The inclusion of a sunroom to your property, will immediately provide you with more outdoor living space that can serve different functions. A glass garden room can be used for hosting family and friends, enjoying the outdoors or growing plants. In Burgess-Hill enclosed outdoor living spaces are great, they provide you with extra room and when they are glass garden rooms; something spectacular.
There are a couple of methods available for heating a sunroom. A more efficient method is to use compact radiant heaters to warm up people not the sunroom. These are powdered coated, so they can match the colour of your glass room and blend in seamlessly.
The installation of a cooling system is really not necessary for sunroom. A glass garden room is designed with sliding door panels that open the room up and provide ventilation. Including a retractable roof shade will make the Sunroom even cooler. You can also include an outdoor side shade that is controlled by automatic sun sensors that follows those thorns movements.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
