Gaining in popularity in Wallingford, the Glass sunrooms from the outdoor living group offer a sleek look with expert installation. Structures surrounded by frameless glass doors are known as glass sunrooms or winter gardens. Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.Book a free survey
Glass rooms draw the natural light in, which provide a space that is aesthetically beautiful and different from the rest of your home. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Wallingford no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Homeowners often incorporate sunrooms as an inexpensive outdoor garden extension. In addition, glass sunrooms come in various styles and designs. Winter gardens are also designed to perfectly match the existing style of your home.
Seasonal sunrooms are custom built with single glazed doors that offer natural ventilation and shade that can be enjoyed all year long. They are however not built to be used with a conditioning or traditional heating like radiators.

Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
