Working in Rainham, the outdoor living group have provided and installed many Glass sunrooms, with years of expertise. Glass rooms or winter gardens are structures built with surrounding framed glass doors. Winter gardens are also referred to as glass rooms, solarium outdoor enclosures, patio rooms or Florida rooms. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.Book a free survey

You can enjoy the sunshine wherever you sit in a sunroom. Not only does this room draw in natural light, but also the sun's warmth, making it a soothing space for an early morning cup of coffee or tea or relaxing with the morning paper or book.
Including a sunroom in your house will provide you with more outdoor living space. There are a couple of methods available for heating a sunroom. The more efficient method would be to use compact radiant heaters that warm up people not the room. Installing one of these will not detract from the visual aesthetic of your glass room as they are powder coated.
Due to a glass garden's sliding glass panel doors, you really do not have to worry about heat. You can improve ventilation further by incorporating a retractable roof shade. You can have an automatic sun sensor affixed with an external side shade on the outside to track the movement of the sun.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
