A favourite in Paddock-Wood, Glass sunrooms are available in a huge range from the expert installers at the outdoor living group. A building surrounded by frameless glass doors is called a sunroom. It is also referred to as a winter garden or glass room. Winter gardens are also referred to as glass rooms, solarium outdoor enclosures, patio rooms or Florida rooms. Glass rooms are different from a conservatory because of their single glazed nature. Winter gardens also have side panels that can be opened up for more ventilation when it's summer.Book a free survey
Glass rooms are strikingly different from other rooms in a building because of the amount of natural light that comes into the room. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Paddock-Wood no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Homeowners often incorporate sunrooms as an inexpensive outdoor garden extension. Sunrooms can be constructed in many different styles and would work well with any kind of building or design style. They are also designed to blend in with your home for a cohesive look that adds to the appeal and feel of any home.
Seasonal sunrooms are not made to be used with air-conditioning or conventional heating sources but still offer all year round use. A major design feature of seasonal sunrooms are single glazed doors or screens.

A utilitarian sunroom especially one that faces a beautiful garden or provides a scenic view of the outdoors, is a feature that most homebuyers in Paddock-Wood will pay a little more for. Spending money on a sunroom is always a good investment that produces great returns.
Sunrooms are built to let in as much natural light as possible. Not only does this room draw in natural light, but also the sun's warmth, making it a soothing space for an early morning cup of coffee or tea or relaxing with the morning paper or book.
By adding a sunroom to your home, you get more outdoor living space. In addition, you get a great outdoor space for relaxing during summer months, at the end of a stressful day or maybe hosting family and friends. In Paddock-Wood enclosed outdoor living spaces are great, they provide you with extra room and when they are glass garden rooms; something spectacular.
There are a couple of methods available for heating a sunroom. A more efficient method is to use compact radiant heaters to warm up people not the sunroom. These are powdered coated, so they can match the colour of your glass room and blend in seamlessly.
Due to a glass garden's sliding glass panel doors, you really do not have to worry about heat. You can improve ventilation further by incorporating a retractable roof shade. You can also include an outdoor side shade that is controlled by automatic sun sensors that follows those thorns movements.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
