Working in Faversham, the outdoor living group have provided and installed many Glass sunrooms, with years of expertise. Glass rooms or winter gardens are structures built with surrounding framed glass doors. Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. What separates a glass room from a conservatory is its single glazed feature. A glass room is never overly hot in the summer because it is also constructed with glass side panels that can be drawn to expel heat.Book a free survey
Glass rooms allow a lot of natural light to come in, which creates a stunning aesthetic that is unique from the rest of your home. Glass rooms allow you to enjoy the outdoors without having to deal with insects or the atmospheric conditions of Faversham. Sunrooms are popular low-cost outdoor living spaces for homeowners especially as an extension of a lush backyard or garden. Sunrooms come in multiples design and style options that can be customised to fit even the most unique specifications. They are also designed to blend in with your home for a cohesive look that adds to the appeal and feel of any home.
Seasonal sunrooms are not made to be used with air-conditioning or conventional heating sources but still offer all year round use. A major design feature of seasonal sunrooms are single glazed doors or screens.

A sunroom that provides an amazing view of the outdoors is a home feature that a lot of homebuyers would gladly shell out a little more money for in Faversham. Spending money on a sunroom is always a good investment that produces great returns.
In a sunroom, you can enjoy the beautiful sun rays, wherever you might be in the room. Not only does this room draw in natural light, but also the sun's warmth, making it a soothing space for an early morning cup of coffee or tea or relaxing with the morning paper or book.
By adding a sunroom to your home, you get more outdoor living space. In addition, you get a great outdoor space for relaxing during summer months, at the end of a stressful day or maybe hosting family and friends. If you're contemplating adding an extra room to your home in Faversham, why not go for something out of the box and install a glass garden room.
There are a couple of methods available for heating a sunroom. You can also use compact radiant heaters to warm up the people in the room and not the room itself. This is the more efficient option. Installing one of these will not detract from the visual aesthetic of your glass room as they are powder coated.
The installation of a cooling system is really not necessary for sunroom. A glass garden room is designed with sliding door panels that open the room up and provide ventilation. Including a retractable roof shade will make the Sunroom even cooler. In addition, you could also have a side shade that comes with an automatic sun sensor installed on the external parts of your sun room to follow the sun's movement.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
