With years of experience, the outdoor living group have installed and provided Glass sunrooms across Letchworth. Glass sunrooms also referred to as winter gardens are buildings enclosed by framed glass doors. Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. The major difference between a sunroom and a conservatory is its distinct glazed feature . A glass room is not affected by high temperatures in the summer months because the side glass panels can be pulled back to expel excess heat.Book a free survey
One of the features that makes glass rooms very unique from the rest of the rooms in your home, is the amount of natural light that bathes and warms up the room. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Letchworth no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Homeowners who want a budget friendly outdoor extension of their garden go with glass sunrooms. In addition, glass sunrooms come in various styles and designs. Yes. You can heat up your sunroom in a number of ways You can also use compact radiant heaters to warm up the people in the room and not the room itself. This is the more efficient option. Using one of these will not affect the colour of your room as they are powdered coated to blend in seamlessly.
With glass garden rooms, you really do not have to worry about heat. A standard feature of a sunroom is sliding glass panels that help keep the room cool. When a retractable roof shade is included with the design, a glass garden room can be made even cooler in the summer. In addition, you could also have a side shade that comes with an automatic sun sensor installed on the external parts of your sun room to follow the sun's movement.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
