Working in Eton, the outdoor living group have provided and installed many Glass sunrooms, with years of expertise. A building surrounded by frameless glass doors is called a sunroom. It is also referred to as a winter garden or glass room. Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. What separates a glass room from a conservatory is its single glazed feature. A glass room is never overly hot in the summer because it is also constructed with glass side panels that can be drawn to expel heat.Book a free survey
Glass rooms draw the natural light in, which provide a space that is aesthetically beautiful and different from the rest of your home. In Eton, sunrooms are the perfect space because you can enjoy the comfort of being indoors while enjoying an outdoor view. Sunrooms are popular low-cost outdoor living spaces for homeowners especially as an extension of a lush backyard or garden. A sunroom is also great home addition because it comes in a broad range of styles and designs. Winter gardens are also constructed to blend in with the rest of a building for a seamless look.
Seasonal sunrooms are not made to be used with air-conditioning or conventional heating sources but still offer all year round use. A major design feature of seasonal sunrooms are single glazed doors or screens.

A utilitarian sunroom especially one that faces a beautiful garden or provides a scenic view of the outdoors, is a feature that most homebuyers in Eton will pay a little more for. While every home is unique, the chances are good that investing in one would be worth the effort.
A sun room is always bathed in warm and beautiful light that the sun provides. Not only does a sunroom bring in a natural light but it also creates a warm space that is completely relaxing. You can unwind in the evening after a long day or drink your morning cup of tea in tune with mother nature.
If you are looking to increase your outdoor living space, then a sunroom will be perfect. It is great for entertaining, relaxing after a long day or as a simple retreat. In Eton enclosed outdoor living spaces are great, they provide you with extra room and when they are glass garden rooms; something spectacular.
There are a lot of heating options available for a sunroom. A more efficient method is to use compact radiant heaters to warm up people not the sunroom. Installing one of these will not detract from the visual aesthetic of your glass room as they are powder coated.
With glass garden rooms, you really do not have to worry about heat. A standard feature of a sunroom is sliding glass panels that help keep the room cool. When a retractable roof shade is included with the design, a glass garden room can be made even cooler in the summer. You can have an automatic sun sensor affixed with an external side shade on the outside to track the movement of the sun.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
