Wokring with the experts at the outdoor living group, many homeowners in Barnet have made the excellent choice of adding a Glass sunroom to their property. Structures surrounded by frameless glass doors are known as glass sunrooms or winter gardens. Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. Glass rooms are different from a conservatory because of their single glazed nature. Winter gardens also have side panels that can be opened up for more ventilation when it's summer.Book a free survey
Glass rooms draw the natural light in, which provide a space that is aesthetically beautiful and different from the rest of your home. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Barnet no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Sunrooms are popular low-cost outdoor living spaces for homeowners especially as an extension of a lush backyard or garden. Sunrooms come in multiples design and style options that can be customised to fit even the most unique specifications. Winter gardens are also designed to perfectly match the existing style of your home.
Seasonal sunrooms are built with single glazed screens or doors. Even though they are not crafted for air conditioning or traditional heating products, seasonal sunrooms provide shade and have an open-air feature that can be enjoyed all year long.

A sunroom that provides an amazing view of the outdoors is a home feature that a lot of homebuyers would gladly shell out a little more money for in Barnet. Spending money on a sunroom is always a good investment that produces great returns.
You can enjoy the sunshine wherever you sit in a sunroom. You also get to enjoy the sun's natural warmth in a sunroom which makes it a great relaxation space. Sit and enjoy a cup of tea in the morning or curl up to a good book in the evening.
Add a sunroom to your space and watch your outdoor living space expand. As a bonus, you also get a space that can serve as a quiet sanctuary, is great for hosting guests outdoors or simply relaxing at the end of a hard day. In Barnet enclosed outdoor living spaces are great, they provide you with extra room and when they are glass garden rooms; something spectacular.
A sunroom can be heated in a couple of ways. The more efficient method would be to use compact radiant heaters that warm up people not the room. These are great options because they are powdered coated and can match the colour of your glass room.
With glass garden rooms, you really do not have to worry about heat. A standard feature of a sunroom is sliding glass panels that help keep the room cool. When a retractable roof shade is included with the design, a glass garden room can be made even cooler in the summer. In addition, you could also have a side shade that comes with an automatic sun sensor installed on the external parts of your sun room to follow the sun's movement.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.The design
It was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
To better manage installation cost, you glass room can be constructed in stages. We can begin with a standard glass veranda. You can have this converted into a complete glass garden room at a later date by adding additional features such as retractable roofing, sliding glass panels and lighting.
