What are the benefits of Pergolas?

With a louvered roof, you can track the movements of the sun via the rotating louvers that are part of a pergola's design feature either for more shade or light. This is made possible by it’s adjustable mechanisation. Suitable for various weather conditions, the outdoor living groups pergolas are bioclimatic and adjustable to provide optimal versatility in Buckingham.

Making them perfect for use all through the year. With the four preset position on the louver's remote, bioclimatic roofs can be adjusted to various positions. The Outdoor Living Group's louvered are customisable making the right choice for whatever specification you might have.

Bioclimatic roof features

Our louvered roofs have a lot of technological improvements built in. Our roof designs get rid of gutters and do not allow for leaks or gaps for light. You can regulate the amount of light that gets let into your outdoor space at the touch of a button. Our louvered blades can be regulated and this allows you to have full control of the ambient light of your outdoor space. The design of our louvered roofs in totally flexible and can be restructured to find a solution for the needs of your home in Buckingham.

We can add side glazing to the louvered roof, this can create a space that is weatherproof and can be used in any weather. We have some optional extras available to add to your outdoor space to make it more unique and comfortable. Some are LED lighting, electric heating and outdoor blinds. The louvered roof can have internal blade insulation added within the louvers, this can help retain heat during the cold months and it also helps to reduce the sound of the rain on the roof by 70%.

Our bioclimatic pergolas are designed and constructed to maneuver the louvers in the roof to rotate from 0 to 135 degrees quickly and efficiently to aerate your outdoor space. Any part of your garden can be enjoyed since we can construct our louvered roofs to stand alone and this can create a large amount of space you can relish and enjoy. What is amazing with our louvered roofs is that you can decide the amount of protection you want. You can either shut out the elements at any time, no matter the weather, or enjoy the sunlight well into the evening. Do you require a planning permission to install a louvered roof? Usually not most properties in the UK already have permitted development rights so installing a louvered roof shouldn’t be a problem.

How long does it take to install a louvered roof?

It could take 1-2 days to install a louvered roof. The time taken is largely dependent on the size of the roof. If side glazing is a feature to be added to the roof, this could add another day to the installation time to make sure it’s done right.

The price of Louvered ( Bioclimatic) Roofs

Being attached to the house or freestanding will affect the cost of the louvered roof. Also, the type of options selected for the louvered roof adds to the cost of the roof. The cost of the roof can be spread out over time by adding features to the roof gradually. Working like that helps handle a daunting scale on a limited budget. Please contact us to consult on a design and plan that works for your budget and your property needs.
