Glass Rooms in Walthamstow, London
Glass Sunrooms
With years of experience, the outdoor living group have installed and provided Glass sunrooms across Walthamstow. A structure that is encircled by a frameless door system is called a sunroom (winter garden). Glass sunrooms are also referred to as glass rooms, Florida rooms, patio rooms or solarium outdoor enclosures. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.

One of the features that makes glass rooms very unique from the rest of the rooms in your home, is the amount of natural light that bathes and warms up the room. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Walthamstow no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Sunrooms are popular choices for property owners who want an affordable outdoor living space. In addition, glass sunrooms come in various styles and designs. They are also designed to blend in with your home for a cohesive look that adds to the appeal and feel of any home.
What Is The Difference Between The Types Of Sunrooms?
Seasonal sunrooms are built with single glazed screens or doors. Even though they are not crafted for air conditioning or traditional heating products, seasonal sunrooms provide shade and have an open-air feature that can be enjoyed all year long.
Glass Rooms: glass rooms are constructed with sturdy, long lasting single glazed doors and laminated glass roofs. This creates a space that provides a scenic view of the outdoors without insects, or weather conditions detracting from the experience.
Solariums: can either be constructed to be used all year round or seasonally. They are made almost entirely from glass which creates a room that provides a striking view of the outdoors.

A sunroom can be heated in a couple of ways. The more efficient method would be to use compact radiant heaters that warm up people not the room. Installing one of these will not detract from the visual aesthetic of your glass room as they are powder coated.

Due to a glass garden's sliding glass panel doors, you really do not have to worry about heat. You can improve ventilation further by incorporating a retractable roof shade. FEATURED GLASS ROOM PROJECT
A contemporary glass room for outside dining
Mr & Mrs Farthing 5.7m x 3.0m glass room with integrated LED roof lighting, bespoke roof shade & dimmable heaters
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
