Glass Rooms in Hythe, Kent
Glass Sunrooms
Gaining in popularity in Hythe, the Glass sunrooms from the outdoor living group offer a sleek look with expert installation. Glass rooms or winter gardens are structures built with surrounding framed glass doors. A winter garden is also called a glass room, Florida room, patio room and a solarium outdoor enclosure. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.

What Are The Different Types Of Winter Gardens?
Seasonal sunrooms are not made to be used with air-conditioning or conventional heating sources but still offer all year round use. A major design feature of seasonal sunrooms are single glazed doors or screens.
Glass Rooms: glass rooms are constructed with sturdy, long lasting single glazed doors and laminated glass roofs. This creates a space that provides a scenic view of the outdoors without insects, or weather conditions detracting from the experience.
Solariums: provide an outdoor like aesthetic feeling because they are constructed majorly from glass. Which makes them the perfect spot for growing plants, entertaining or relaxing with a cup of tea. Solariums can either be used all year long or seasonally depending on design or construction.

FEATURED GLASS ROOM PROJECT
A contemporary glass room for outside dining
Mr & Mrs Farthing 5.7m x 3.0m glass room with integrated LED roof lighting, bespoke roof shade & dimmable heaters
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
