Host Guests In Style

How to heat a sunroom.
Yes it can. There are a couple of heating methods that can be used in a sunroom. You can also use compact radiant heaters to warm up the people in the room and not the room itself. This is the more efficient option. Using one of these will not affect the colour of your room as they are powdered coated to blend in seamlessly.
How to cool a sunroom
With glass garden rooms, you really do not have to worry about heat. A standard feature of a sunroom is sliding glass panels that help keep the room cool. When a retractable roof shade is included with the design, a glass garden room can be made even cooler in the summer. You can also incorporate side shades on the outside that comes fitted with automatic sun sensors that track the sun's movement all through the day.
FEATURED GLASS ROOM PROJECT
A contemporary glass room for outside dining
Mr & Mrs Farthing 5.7m x 3.0m glass room with integrated LED roof lighting, bespoke roof shade & dimmable heaters
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
